At the age of 7 Frank Loef started his music career with the
classical study of the clarinet & the flute. Despite this tender age he had already performed classical music on stage in concerthalls and won various awards.
When he was 12 years old, he started to compose his first pieces for chamber ensembles. Because of his extraordinary talent he was allowed to study at the Austrian University of music in Graz/Austria
at the young age of 16. At the „Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst“ he mainly studied composition, arrangement & woodwind soloist.
At 19, Frank Loef moved to Munich where he started his professional career as a soloist & composer for notable artists, live on stage and in recording studios.
In addition to his own personal projects, he was invited for recording sessions & concerts in: Copenhagen, Los Angeles, Moscow, Vienna, Barcelona, Leningrad, Rio de Janeiro, Amsterdam, Berlin, Milano,
Salzburg, Budapest, Hamburg, Montreux, Venice, Munich, New York, Havanna, etc.
